For the first time, the Bodaibo Mining College graduated specialists in the Mineral Processing program. Young professionals are already in demand in the gold mining industry, especially at large projects in Siberia.
The director of the technical school, Marina Zavodyanskaya, noted that the institution ranks second in the national rating for personnel training. “We are preparing those who build the future,” she emphasized. “We are supported by employers, and this motivates us to new achievements.”
Polyus Sukhoi Log company, developing deposits Sukhoi Log and Devil’s Koryto, actively cooperates with the technical school. “We need proactive specialists,” said managing director Igor Tsukurov. “To achieve this, we helped create a modern laboratory and opened the “Gold is Near” classroom.”
Students are trained on small copies of real installations: screw separators, centrifugal concentrators and ball mills. In a corporate classroom, they study ore samples and equipment models, as well as career guidance materials.
College graduates will be able to work at gold extraction factories and participate in the development of deposits in Siberia. Training personnel for the industry is an important step in the development of the region and the gold mining industry in Russia.
