The Dalur enterprise from Rosatom has completed the installation of innovative equipment for production uranium raw materials. The first tests of the portable complex are planned for the spring of 2026.

Rosatom’s mining complex has reached an important milestone in the development of uranium mining technologies. On the territory of the Dalmatovskoye deposit in the Kurgan region, all construction operations for the installation of an innovative uranium extraction system have been completed. The work was carried out by specialists from the Dalur company together with partners from the corporate group. At the next stage, adjustment work, connection of production wells and construction of auxiliary infrastructure facilities at the Verkhne-Uksyanskaya deposit are planned.

The innovative equipment is a system of block modules in a container design, equipped with adsorption columns for concentrating the substance, storage tanks chemical solutions, local power generating substation and control panel. The central advantage of this design is mobility – the complex can be moved from one development site to another, which speeds up commissioning and reduces initial capital investment compared to traditional permanent structures.

Ion exchange technology underlies the system’s operation. The process involves the selective isolation of the target substance from components dissolved in the liquid by replacing ions of dissolved salts with ions of the active material fixed on the matrix. This methodology ensures the productive separation and accumulation of necessary elements in aqueous suspensions, which makes it possible to use it in various industrial segments – from nuclear fuel production to metallurgy and environmental protection.

The transition to mobile equipment demonstrates the development of the industry in the direction of economic optimization and environmental responsibility, contributing to the reliable operation of nuclear energy while minimizing the man-made impact on natural systems.
