Drilling specialists were in first place in terms of wages among blue-collar professions. Following them in the ranking were machine operators and turners.
A study by a job search service revealed which professions receive the highest salary offers. Data for 2025 showed that the highest incomes belong to drillers. The average monthly salary in this area was 179,237 rubles, which is 42% higher than the previous year.
The second position is occupied by operators of machine tools with computer numerical control (CNC). Employers are willing to pay them more than 172.6 thousand rubles per month. Revenue growth for this category for the year exceeded 59%.
Turners retained third place on the list. Their average earnings increased by 17% and reached 172.2 thousand rubles. The fourth result was for sorters: their income increased by more than half (by 53%), to 161.9 thousand rubles.
The top five is completed by the profession of facade worker. Specialists in the installation and finishing of external walls of buildings received an average of 156.1 thousand rubles, which is 19% more than a year earlier.
According to analysts, high pay is associated with increased qualification requirements, responsibility and often dangerous working conditions. Personnel are especially valued in mining industry, precision manufacturing and construction. Many vacancies involve shift work, which also affects income levels.
In addition to rising wages, the number of vacancies for a number of specialties has also increased sharply in 2025. Demand for facade designers almost doubled (+99%), for tilers – by 91%, and for car painters – by 70%.
The labor market confirms the high value of applied technical specialties. The greatest rewards today go to specialists whose work is directly related to the development of the mining and manufacturing sectors of the economy.
