A leading educational institution in Ufa has joined the largest educational project in the field of open secondary education.
The Ufa College of Statistics, Informatics and Computer Science became the first educational institution from the capital of Bashkortostan included in the Gazprom Neft College League. This was reported by the company’s press service.
The college, which is among the top 100 best colleges in the country, will train personnel for digital transformation oil and gas industry. As part of the cooperation, students will have access to modern laboratories, as well as benefits employment at Gazprom Neft. Teachers will be able to improve their skills at the company’s corporate university.
The League of Colleges unites more than 20 educational institutions in 10 regions of Russia. The project covers over 3 thousand students studying in 20 specialties that are in demand in the oil and gas sector.
The partnership also provides for the development of new areas, including artificial intelligence and robotics. The plans include creating a joint laboratory for scientific and applied projects.
Ufa College is equipped with modern equipment and has a strong teaching staff, including candidates of sciences and honored teachers. This cooperation will strengthen its position as one of the leading IT educational centers in the Volga Federal District.
