China’s Zijin Mining has registered a new trading company, Jinfu International Trade, with a charter capital of 5 million tenge, at the Astana International Financial Centre. Its founder is Xinjiang Jinmai International Logistics, which is wholly owned by Zijin Mining. The new entity will handle equipment supply, logistics, warehousing, and customs clearance.
Jinfu International Trade’s scope of activity covers the supply of equipment and materials, cargo transportation and storage, customs procedures, and commodity trading. Its geography includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
This is not Zijin Mining’s first asset in the republic. In October 2025, Zijin Gold International acquired 100% of RG Gold and RG Processing for about $1 billion. These companies are developing the Raigorodok gold project in Akmola region.
In June 2026, another structure of the Chinese giant appeared at the AIFC: Tianshan Resources. Its profile is geological exploration, reserve estimation, and engineering support for projects.
Zijin Mining is consistently building a full chain in Kazakhstan — from exploration and mining to logistics and sales. The new trading company meets the infrastructure needs of its growing portfolio of assets in Central Asia.
