At the end of May 2025, the first constituent meeting of the STANNUM Alliance of Strategic Metals took place. The new association will unite key industry enterprises for the development of tin mining in Russia.
The founders were leading companies in the sector:
- Pravourmiyskoe LLC
- JSC Tin Ore Company
- JSC “Yanolovo”
- LLC “Arkmineral-Resource”
- LLC “Territory”
- Amur Metallurgical Plant LLC
The STANNUM Association will improve the legislative framework, implement modern technologies and increased tin production. Particular attention will be paid to companies entering the stock market and growing demand for Russian products.
Active interaction with industrial associations, universities and metal consumers is planned. This will help strengthen the industry’s position and increase its competitiveness in the global market.
The creation of STANNUM is an important step for the development of tin mining in Russia. Joining forces key players will increase production volumes and improve the quality of final products.
