The Almazy Anabara company, part of the ALROSA group, announced plans for diamond mining for the current year. According to the press service of the enterprise, it is expected extract about 3 million carats of precious stones. This is slightly less than in 2024, when production volume was 4 million carats.
To achieve its goals, the company is actively modernizing production. In 2025, 18 units of mining equipment and 63 units of specialized transport were purchased. New separators have also been put into operation to effectively separate diamonds with weak luminescence. Work is being carried out at eight license areas, which will ensure the stability of the production process.
In addition to diamonds, Almazy Anabara is developing the alluvial gold business. It is planned to extract 166 kg of precious metal from the Molodo and Mayat mines, which is 27% more than last year. This indicates business diversification and increased profitability of the enterprise.
The company has 30 licenses for the exploration and production of diamonds in Yakutia, including the Anabarsky, Oleneksky and Bulunsky districts. In addition, work is underway in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and at the Degdekan gold mine. field in the Magadan region.
Despite the reduction in diamond mining plans in 2025, the company continues to invest in modern equipment and expand the geography of its work. This allows us to count on sustainable development and growth in production volumes in the coming years.
