Large-scale projects start in Dagestan geological surveys, which have not been carried out since the 1980s. The project is being implemented with the support of Rosnedra and the Dagestan Ministry of Natural Resources. The main work will be carried out by the Rosgeology company using modern technologies and government funding.
In recent decades, the republic has been actively developing tourism infrastructure and coastal complexes, which has increased the demand for building materials, especially sand. However, local enterprises capable of conducting geological exploration, is not enough. New research will help assess the mineral resource base and provide construction sites with the necessary resources.
