Rosnedra put up for auction the right geological study Nerkhinsky site for ore gold in the Irkutsk region. Acceptance of applications from potential investors will last until September 26, after which a new one will be identified subsoil user.
The promising site is located in the Nizhneudinsky region of the Angara region, its total area exceeds 94 square kilometers. This area is already well known gold miners. The Techservice company, which is developing the Gurbey field, is successfully operating nearby. The resource potential of their licensed territory is estimated at more than 50 tons of gold.
The new facility is of significant interest to the industry. Its study and subsequent development can significantly strengthen the position of the Irkutsk region as one of the key gold-mining regions of Russia. The development of such areas leads to the creation of new jobs and economic growth of the territory.
In addition to the Nerkhinsky site, the department also added a new facility in Yakutia to the list. This is the Yukta gold placer site with an area of almost 11 square meters. km, located in the Neryungri district. Expanding the list of territories available for exploration opens up additional business opportunities in the field of precious metals mining.
Thus, the start of the auction for the Nerkhinsky site is an important event for the country’s mineral resources complex. It is attractive for its location in a promising area and significant resource potential, which makes it a tasty morsel for major market players.
