The Federal Agency for Subsoil Use announced the acceptance of applications for the right geological exploring new promising areas. Among them are areas for searching for placer minerals. gold in Buryatia and the Magadan region, as well as coal deposits in the Amur region and Primorsky Territory. Applications will be accepted until December 11, 2024.
Rosnedra has updated the list of subsoil areas that will be available for geological study in 2025. This opens up new opportunities for mineral exploration companies. Of particular interest are two objects intended for the search and evaluation of placer gold deposits.
In the Bauntovsky Evenki district of the Republic of Buryatia, the Zhidokhon site is proposed. Its total area is 94.61 square kilometers. Another promising territory is located in the Magadan region. This is the “Ruchey Gvardeets” site, located in the Yagodninsky urban district. Its area is 10.95 square meters. km.
In addition to gold, the agency invites investors to explore coal deposits. In the Amur region, the Uvalny-3 site has been allocated, where brown coal can be mined. In the Ussuri urban district of Primorsky Krai, the “Monakinsky” site, promising for hard coal, is available for study.
New projects for geological exploration of subsoil contribute to the development of the country’s mineral resource base and attracting investment to the regions. Companies specializing in gold and coal mining should consider these proposals.
