Kumroch is preparing to become one of the most promising gold mining deposits of Kamchatka. Bystrinskaya Mining Company will build a mining and processing plant with a capacity of 600 thousand tons of ore per year. The launch of the enterprise will be carried out in stages, which will make it possible to thoroughly develop technological solutions and reduce the impact on the environment.
The project involves work gold recovery factories using the direct cyanidation scheme, as well as the use of modern methods of sample analysis and pilot development. In the future, ore will be extracted primarily underground, reducing the environmental burden. The reserves of the Kumroch deposit are about 49 tons of gold and 77 tons of silver, which was confirmed based on the results of geological exploration and will be updated until 2026.
The company is actively pursuing geological exploration work: new areas, such as Northern, Southern, Vodopadny and others, are planned to further explore and expand the resource base of Kumroch. The company’s license for the field is valid until 2036, the volume of investment in the project is 30 billion rubles.
The launch of the factory and the use of new processing technologies promise a significant economic effect for the region, strengthening Kamchatka’s position in the gold mining industry. Much of the work is a step towards sustainable development, waste reduction and nature conservation.
